As President of Pi Beta Phi, to me, this chapter means the future, unity, strength, and inclusivity. Chapter to me is another word for my home, a place where I feel safe and comfortable. My chapter is also a place for growth both individually and as a whole, a place were sisters and I are able to open our minds to new ideas, beliefs, and experiences. At Pi Beta Phi I have truly found my lifelong friends, the people who have accepted me for whom I am and have helped me become the best version of myself. I would have never imagined myself to become a leader let alone the President if it wasn’t for the support of my sisters.
